Recently, Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Southwest Institute) revealed that it and Qinghua Energy Group Co., Ltd. officially signed a supply contract of 1.5 billion cubic meters/year coal-to-natural gas project CNGC-2 gas regulator and CNJ-8 methanation catalyst。The successful signing of this contract marks the first time that a coal-to-natural gas catalyst has been fully localized。

In recent years, with the demand for clean energy natural gas increases sharply, combining with the energy characteristics of our country "rich coal, lack of oil, less gas", the development of coal to gas has become an effective supplement of our natural gas resources。By making full use of inferior coal and building local coal-to-natural gas projects, the problem of long-distance transportation of inferior coal can be solved, and the efficient and clean utilization of coal can be promoted。
